These days, drone racing really seems to have taken off (literally!) The popularity of drone racing can also be attributed to the establishment of leagues like the DRL (Drone Racing League) and international contests such as the Dubai World Drone Prix, which has big prize money.

If you are looking to buy a drone, you know that they provide a super high level of thrill and a great competitive buzz. Here’s a look at some of the best racing drones that are available on the market.

Arris FPV250 BNF

The Arris FPV250 BNF is a preassembled drone which makes it to the top of the charts for being reasonable priced at $209, and for having a 700TVL camera that provides no latency/zero delay. The only things that you will need to add are your own battery pack, remote and camera system, after which you are off the ground.

The drone’s frame is made of very sturdy composite fiberglass. Its standard connectors also make it easy to customize. While it’s not exactly RTF (ready to fly) out of the box, all you will need to do is spend a few minutes to install the propellers. This is one of the most cost effective and fastest racing drones on the market.

Blade Mach 25 FPV

The Blade Mach 25 is another one of the Blade’s high-quality quadcopters. This fully assembled racing drone is equipped with SAFE technology to make FPV racing easy and fun. Along with the Spektrum A3174 Flight Controller, the racing drone has a Spektrum 25mw ultra micro FPV camera system. Users can see where they are going very easily thanks to the camera placed on carbon-fiber camera mount to curb vibration.

The Mach 25 drone uses a super-powered 2300kV brushless outrunner motors, with self-tightening propellers that need no tools for installation. With a robust carbon fiber frame, the racing drone comes with canted motor mounts that make it go at really high speeds.

You will only need the Fat Shark FPV headset to fly this stylish drone which comes fitted with an E-flite 1350 mAh 3S battery. Fitted with LED lights for easy identification, it performs beautifully with a Dx6 controller.
